Adding Questionnaires & Dependencies to POS Services
How to configure dynamic questions, measurements, or inventory dependencies for service products in the Point of Sale system.
Configuration Steps
- Navigate to the Left Menu and select the POS Label.
- Select the desired Service Product from the list.
- Locate the section labeled "Dependency of [Product Name]" and click the + (Add) button.

Basic Configuration:
- Dependency Name: Enter the name in both English and Arabic.
- Question: Enter the prompt for the user (e.g., "Take photo of receipt", "Record measurement").
- Select Input Type: Choose one of the following types and configure accordingly:
Input Type Configuration
- Option A: Image or Camera Input

Use this for capturing visual data (receipts, designs, measurements). Select the specific answer mode:
- Single Selection Image
- Multiple Selection Image
- Drawing (for sketches)
- Camera Input (direct capture)
- Option B: From Product (Inventory Link)

Use this to link a consumable item (buttons, zippers, fabric) to this service.
- Selection Mode: Choose Single Selection or Multiple Selection.
- Category: Select the Product Category. Items from this category will appear as answer options.
- Reduction Qty: Enter the amount to deduct from inventory per selection.
- Reduction Timing:
- While Save Order: (Recommended) Deducts stock immediately when order is created.
- While Deliver: Deducts stock only upon handover.
