How to Assign a User to a Branch
Once you have successfully created a user profile from the User section, the next required step is to link that user to their respective branch or branches. This ensures the user has the correct permissions and access to branch-specific data. This guide will walk you through assigning users, viewing their assignments, and making modifications.

- Log in to your AiPSoft BT dashboard.
- On the left-hand navigation menu, locate and click on the User module to expand its options.
- Click on Assign to branch. This will open the main branch assignment management screen.
2. Assigning a New User to a Branch
- On the top right of the screen, click the green Assign User to Branch + button. A new window will pop up.
- In the Users dropdown menu, search for and select the specific user you want to assign (e.g., Fawas - Admin).
- In the Branches field, select the branch you wish to assign them to.
Note: You can select multiple branches at once if the user requires access to more than one location. All selected branches will appear in the field. - Once your selections are complete, click the green Save button at the bottom of the window.
- A green "Success" notification will briefly appear at the top of your screen to confirm the assignment has been saved.
Best Practice:
Always ensure a user profile is fully created in the main "User" settings before attempting to assign them to a branch. If they are not created first, they will not appear in the assignment dropdown.
3. Viewing and Filtering Assigned Users
The main screen provides a comprehensive overview of all user-to-branch assignments. You can easily filter and review this data.
- Filter by Branch: Use the Select Branch: dropdown menu at the top left to filter the view. You can select a specific branch or choose All to see every user assignment across the company.
- Search & Display: Use the Search bar on the top right to find a specific person, or adjust the Show [10] entries dropdown to view more records on a single page.
- Understanding the Table: The data table displays key details for an at-a-glance overview:
- User: The internal username or ID.
- User Name: The actual name of the employee.
- User Type: Their system role (e.g., Admin, Driver).
- Branch: The specific branch they are tied to.
4. Editing or Deleting an Assignment
If an employee transfers to a different branch or leaves the company, you can easily update their record from the table's Action column.
- To Edit: Click the yellow Edit button (pencil/notepad icon). The assignment window will reopen, allowing you to add or remove branches for that user. Click Save to apply changes.
- To Delete: Click the red Delete button (X icon) to completely remove the user's assignment to that specific branch.
