How to Request Inventory Items Between Branches
This guide explains how to transfer or request inventory items from one branch to another using the Item Request feature. This tool helps you maintain optimal stock levels across all your locations by easily managing inter-branch transfers for goods, services, and non-stock items.

- Log in to your dashboard.
- On the left-hand navigation menu, locate and click on the Inventory module.
- From the expanded dropdown, select Item Request.
2. Viewing and Filtering Past Requests
Once you click on Item Request, you will be redirected to the main request window. This page displays a table of all existing item requests.
- Use the top filter bar to easily find specific data. You can filter by:
- Status (e.g., All, Approved, Pending)
- Branch From
- Branch To
- You can also use the Search box on the right side to quickly locate a specific request.
Tip:
Using the filtering options is the fastest way to pull up historical data or check the status of a specific branch's inventory requests.
3. Creating a New Item Request
To request an item from one branch to another, follow these steps to fill out a new request form:
- Click the Add New button to open the Item Request form window.

Configure Request Details:
- #Purchase: Set or verify the auto-generated voucher number for this specific request.
- Date: Select the correct date for the request from the calendar dropdown.
- Branch From: Select the branch that currently holds the inventory (where the items will be taken from).
- Branch To: Select the destination branch (where the items are needed).

Select the Product Type:
- Use the Search Product Type dropdown in the top right corner.
- Choose whether you are transferring Goods, Services, or Non-Stock items.

Additional Settings (Optional):
- Select the appropriate Area and Stage as per your specific business requirements.
- Add any extra notes in the Remark field.
4. Adding Items to the Request
Once the header details are complete, you need to specify exactly which items are being requested.
- Go to the Product tab grid at the bottom of the form.
- Click into the Barcode or Name column.
- Scan the barcode or manually type the item code/name to select the item you want to request.
- Enter the required quantity in the corresponding column.
- Repeat this process for any additional items you need to add to the same transfer request.
- Once all items are added, click Save to submit your branch transfer request.
Important Note:
Always double-check the "Branch From" and "Branch To" fields before saving to ensure the inventory is deducted and credited to the correct locations.
