Getting Started: Login, Dashboard Overview, and Basic Settings
Welcome to your new Tadkeer Information Solution software! This guide will walk you through the basic steps of logging into your account, understanding your dashboard, navigating key modules, and configuring your foundational system settings.
1. How to Log In and Select Your Branch
Access to the software is strictly role-based. This means the menus and modules you see after logging in will depend on your assigned user role. For example:
- Admin: Has full access to all system features, settings, and reports.
- Cashier: Has limited access primarily focused on Point of Sale (POS) operations.
- Accountant: Has access to financial data and system reports.
To log in:
- Enter your assigned Username and Password on the login screen.
- Click the arrow button (➔) or press Enter to sign in.
-
Select Branch (If applicable):
If your company operates across multiple locations and your user account is granted multi-branch access, a Select Branch popup will appear.
Choose your current working location from the dropdown menu (e.g., Abu Dhabi, Sharjah) and click Select.
Note: If your user profile is restricted to a single branch, you will bypass this screen and log directly into your assigned location.

2. Understanding Your Dashboard
Once logged in, you will be taken to the main dashboard. The dashboard serves as your central command center, offering quick insights and easy navigation.
Main Navigation (Left Sidebar)
On the left side of the screen, you will find the main navigation menu. As an Admin, you will see all available modules, including POS Modules, Company, Projects, Products, Inventory, Sales, Reports, Accounts, and User App Layouts. Click on any of these categories to expand and access specific features.
Quick Access Shortcuts
At the top of the dashboard, there are large shortcut buttons for your most frequent tasks:
- Orders: View and manage current orders.
- Purchased: Click here to jump directly to the Purchase Bills section to record new vendor purchases.
- Sales: Instantly open the Sales Invoice window.
- Stocks: Check your current inventory levels.
Account Balance & Filtering
The central area displays your real-time Account Balance across different payment methods (e.g., Cash Account, Bank Transfers, digital payments like Careem) and your total revenue.
- Use the dropdown menu located at the top right of the Account Balance box to filter data by Today, Yesterday, This Week, Previous Week, or All.
- To the left, a visual bar chart allows you to easily analyze and compare sales trends (e.g., comparing "This Week" against "Previous Week").
Customizable Widgets
The bottom section of the dashboard features customizable widgets displaying summaries like Today's Order, This Week, This Month, and This Year.
- Click the Add New Widget (+) button to place new data points on your dashboard.
- You can customize or edit these widgets to show the specific details and metrics that matter most to your daily operations.

💡 Pro Tips
- Always save your changes: When updating settings, ensure you scroll down and save your configuration so that it applies across the system.
- Widget Layout: Take time to set up your dashboard widgets. A well-organized dashboard can save managers and admins valuable time every day.
- Permissions: If a staff member mentions they cannot see a specific module (like Reports or Settings), verify their user role with your system administrator.
